Meet The Team
Matt Robinson (Owner)
Matt started his first business over a decade ago after finishing his time playing football for Wake Forest University and a number of years coaching football at the collegiate and highschool level. In 2019, Matt moved to Auburn, AL and opened Whole Flooring Company where he was responsible for the daily operations of the business. After a successful few years and a great team in place at Whole Flooring, Matt and his wife Karly moved to the coast to be near family and for Karly to begin her career as a Veterinarian at Capital Vet Specialist. Matt started Founders in the summer of 2023 and works closely with both commercial and residential clients while overseeing the daily operations of the business. Matt is a husband to Karly and a father to their little girl, Caroline.
Tyler Lewis (Senior Project Manager)
Tyler Lewis Tyler comes to Founders Flooring after spending two decades building a highly successful flooring installation company. Tyler brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the team with custom shower design / installation as well as extensive experience with hardwood and LVP flooring. Tyler is detail oriented and takes great pride in his work to ensure his customers are thrilled with their design and install experience. Tyler is a husband to Amanda and a father of three girls.
