Before even knowing about Founders, I visited a few other flooring companies, and the experience was completely different. At the other stores, I felt like a burden for just walking in and was not offered much help. From the moment I stepped into Founders, I felt welcomed and valued, and not a nuisance for not having an appointment.

The guys here took the time to walk me through every flooring option, patiently answering all of my questions and helping me understand the pros and cons of each choice. They never rushed me or pressured me into making a decision. One thing I especially appreciated was that they let us take samples home for several days so I could see how they looked in our space and really take our time deciding.

They also worked closely with our designer throughout the entire process, helping coordinate both the flooring and tile selections to make sure everything came together beautifully. Their attention to detail, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire experience so much easier and enjoyable.

Our floors and tile turned out absolutely beautiful, and we couldn't be happier with the results. If you're looking for a flooring company that truly cares about its customers and provides exceptional service from start to finish, I highly recommend Founders. They exceeded our expectations in every way!

This place is beyond excellent! I am what my husband calls an over researcher. I try to find the best of the best in value, customer service, price and quality always. This place hit every mark and surpassed everything I had imagined in customer service.

My husband had a haircut a couple stores over and happened to walk in when the stylist finished early. We had been shopping around for flooring for a couple of weeks and knew the pricing of most of the competitors. These guys beat the price on every one of my top favorite floors on my list. They have a huge selection of brands and manufacturers. It’s definitely worth a stop in.

First off the owner Matt is an incredibly nice and genuine person. He will give it to you straight. I have so much respect for that guy. I never felt like I was being sold to. I’d do business 100x over because I trust the guy.

They get great deals on their buyers side and are able to pass that on to their customers. I feel like I got a great bargain and everyone I speak to tells me the quality and price are the best that they’ve heard of.

Tyler is wonderful too. They are extremely hard working and to maintain 5 stars for 65+ reviews really tells you something about this business.

We ended up going with an ICF brand LVP it was 10MM and we get compliments all of the time. They were even able to hold it for us until we were ready to take on delivery.

I’ve heard big things are coming with their hardwood flooring. This will blow any competition out of the water. So if you’re looking for LVP, hardwood, tile or any type of remodeling surface call these guys or better yet stop in. It’s in Freeport not very far from the 331.

My wife holds an interior design degree, and every home we've purchased through eleven military moves has been renovated. We have collaborated with many contractors and vendors throughout our thirty-year career, so we’ve both developed a pretty sharp eye for quality, professionalism, and true craftsmanship. Founders Flooring is, without question, one of the best companies either of us has ever worked with.
From the very first consultation, their team stood out. They listened carefully, offered honest recommendations, and approached the project with the kind of precision and pride you rarely see anymore. Their installers worked with exceptional attention to detail—every seam, transition, and cut was executed flawlessly.
What truly sets Founders Flooring apart is their integrity and customer‑first approach. They communicated clearly, respected our home, stayed on schedule, and delivered results that exceeded our expectations. After so many moves and renovations, we’ve learned how rare it is to find a company that combines craftsmanship, professionalism, and genuine care for the customer experience.
If you’re looking for a flooring company you can trust—one that delivers beautiful results and treats your home like their own—Founders Flooring is the one. They’ve earned our highest recommendation, and we will use them again for our floors and countertops when we remodel our next project - the Master Bath.

I’ve done a couple remodel jobs. I’ve NEVER paid for floors to be installed. I always do it myself. As long as Tyler and Founder floors are in Business I’ll never install myself again. THE GUYS ARE AWESOME! I bought from them! And they installed. Both processes were seamless and helpful.

Matt and Tyler are top notch. From flooring selection to the finer details like caulk to match flooring—they know it all. And offer help and expertise where many others do not. Founders also has a great selection of tile with the same expertise. I cannot speak enough good things about the level of service you can expect with Founders Flooring. Great business with great people who care about your project!

Founders Flooring is hands-down the best! Their customer service is second to none—genuine, friendly, and just good-mood people. From helping us choose the perfect floors to the flawless installation recommendations, they made the whole process easy and stress-free. The team was professional, kind, and treated our home like their own. Our floors look amazing, and we couldn’t be happier. If you want top-notch quality with a personal touch, Founders Flooring is the way to go! We own a local business and will be using them for all of our flooring needs in the future. You should too!!

If you're reading this review in your search to choose a flooring company - STOP HERE! You're done. You've found it. I choose this flooring company based on their outstanding 5-star reviews, and now I find myself here feeling compelled to add my own. However you choose who will earn your business - whether it's professionalism, expertise, reliability, reputation, etc...Founders Flooring Company is exactly what you’re looking for. I would even go as far to say that Founders Flooring Company will either be your first choice, or your second - when you need to address what your first choice failed to do. This is truly one of the best companies to do business with in Walton County, and is where locals know to trust.
